WHAT IS THE FUNCTIONAL SAFETY AWARENESS PROGRAM?
Somewhere, everyday, children are raped, beaten, tortured, and murdered. HOW IS IT STRUCTURED?
There are 12 weekly lessons – each short and consise – each focusing on a particular safety topic. Each lesson can easily be reviewed in anywhere from 30-60 minutes. At your convience, not on someone else's schedule!
The lessons are delievered to your personal email inbox each week. You will receive a weekly Newsletter and the link to your lesson. The weekly newsletter is provided to round out your weekly training by providing a little more insight into the lesson or to high light products and services that have proven themself to be useful in helping to acheive your goals!
As an added bonus, we will be posting video-based supplemental study information, mostly PowerPoint webinar style, with a specific emphasis on teaching the fundamentals and intricacies of combining youth oriented personal safety and self confidence.
Material will be available to you in a number of ways:
• You can view the lessons online,
• You can download the lessons to a special folder on your computer (or iPod/iPad),
• You can print out and save the lesson in a hard copy, and
• You can download/read the supplemental PDF study material/workbooks
You will have access to members only Youtube videos and iTunes podcasts
Not only will you get more focused safety training material than most public safety officials, but you will also be encouraged to take action and apply what you learn by providing you with the following:
• 1-2 simple assignments at the end of each lesson (5-10 minutes of “work”)
• Actionable safety awareness-improvement steps in each lesson
To avoid overwhelming anyone and to promote steady and progressive implementation, lessons will be made available ONE lesson at a time. Every 7 days, you will receive your newsletter and access to the current lesson in your email inbox.
Building Community
In addition to the educational training, students are able to post questions and connect with other users in the Members only section of the Safe Kidz Social Network. We call this our “campus”.
